Introduction

investing 300x177 IntroductionThe “No Market Risk Investing” concept was developed, and continues to be refined by a veteran entrepreneur, with the primary goal of offering Main Street Investors many of the opportunities Large and Institutional Investors have enjoyed for years.

Another part of Our “Mission” is to inject some common sense into the money management industry, while debunking much of the outdated financial advice, and many of the programs offered by the single minded and institutionally trained money managers, who dominate the industry.

Main Street investors suffered losses of up to 50% of the value of their portfolios in 2000 and again in 2008.  For the sake of comparison; Berkshire Hathaway  (Warren Buffet’s Company) lost 6.2% in 1999 – 2001, and 9.4% in 2008 – 2009.

In reality, we have a two tier financial system;  the top tier for Large and Institutional Investors like Warren Buffet’s Berkshire Hathaway, Wells Fargo, Wachovia, Credit Swiss Bank, UBS Bank, Trans-America Insurance Co, to name a few, and the bottom tier for Main Street. Main Street suffers the ups and downs and the well connected top tier reaps the rewards. This certainly isn’t illegal, nor is it likely to change, however our goal is to help level the playing field.

gatesandbuffett IntroductionWould you like the type of returns enjoyed by the Top Tier Investors, while minimizing your exposure? We will make you aware of the opportunities available, with little or no market risk. Helping an individual retire with more fruits of their labor is very rewarding.  However, during the past two decades, the profession has been tarnished by the absence of forward thinking, preparation, planning and a general lack of understanding about the economy and market place.  The profession of financial planning and advising has failed the Main Street Investor twice during the last 10 years.

We attend investment seminars and talk with various advisers, as if we are potential clients. This research allows us to understand what you, the Main Street investor, are being offered in the form of investment vehicles and advice.  Virtually everyone stays focused on the market.  The market is considered to be the only barometer and vehicle for accumulating wealth, and the only compass which offers any direction for the financial world.  Most advisers Live and Die by the Market, and consequently, so does Main Street.

Our research shows a lack of understanding concerning basic business practices, and the economy in general, by many advisers and planners, especially from the larger firms.  They seem to have a one size fits all cookie cutter approach for the Main Street investor.  A dose of common sense is long overdue for many advisers, as it pertains to the financial world.  The prevailing attitudes and advice poses some very serious problems, and a threat to the well being of many small investors.  We are striving to debunk much of the outdated financial advice, and many of the programs offered by the single minded and institutionally trained money managers, who dominate the industry.

“Investment Speak” is not part of our process, and you will never feel as if you are being talked down to.  Everyone should understand the process, and be involved with the financial plan.  Investing should not be confusing, or seem like a foreign language.  Everything is thoroughly explained, and we take our responsibility, your understanding, and the success of your investments very seriously.

portfolio 262x300 IntroductionIt is Your Money, and Sound Financial Planning is essential to getting the most out of life, for you and your family.  Our philosophy includes exploring all of your options, and matching them to your specific needs and desires. In 2007 we were making both current and potential clients aware that there could be some problems in the near future, and that we had some viable alternatives to market driven products.  Some acted and some stayed in the market; the rest is history.

Many of the new clients we have acquired since 2007, only talked with their adviser, if and when they called their adviser.  We personally contact each client at least quarterly and many times monthly, or as often as our client has a need.

The solution is very simple; each client must have a basic education in INVESTING 101!  There is a critical need for clear, concise and understandable financial information, and we are determined to address and help solve the industry perceptions and problems, one client at a time.  We are an education and solutions oriented firm, and take both very seriously. Once our clients have a basic understanding of the investment and financial world,  they become more knowledgeable in the management of their money.

Please feel FREE to ask for a ”Second or Third Opinion” concerning any advice you have received from anyone in the financial planning  arena.  There is never any cost or obligation for our services.
